25-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 18 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to cross Genetic West Bengal, North Odisha, Jharkhand and adjoining North Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal condition

Southwest monsoon is likely to withdrawal from the whole country during the 10^th October to 14^th October.

A low pressure area may form over the Bay of Bengal and it may further intensity into a depression. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy days

Rain or thundershower will be expected above normal in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State and about normal in Lower Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Rainy days will be expected about (5) to (8) days in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and about (1) to (4) days in Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah State.
