SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers has been fairly widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Chin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Kayin States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C) above November average temperatures in Bago Region and Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah and Mon States, (2°C) above November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperature was (11°C)in Tongzan. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Nyaunglaybin (0.71)inch, Tongzan and Zaung Tu (0.51)inch each, Falam, Tamu and Pathein (0.23)inch each and Hlegu (0.20)inch.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over Northwest Bay of Bengal off South Odisha Coast(India) has moved Northeast and its centered at about (50)miles South of Paradip and (140)miles South- Southwest  of  Digha  (India).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18thNOVEMBER, 2017: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Southern Shan and Chin States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainly is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5 - 7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
