22-10-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal (off Tamil Nadu coast, India) still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and may across North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon will be moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

 Rain condition and Rainy Day                  

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Kayah States and about normal in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State and below normal in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about 7 to 10 days in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and about 4 to 6 days in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayah State.
