23-11-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on 24-11-2025. Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and  North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon will be moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about normal in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin,States.

Rainy days are expected about 7 to 10 days in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and about 3 to 6 days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions.
