25-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca has intensified into a depression. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 50 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 260 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  470 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Extreme Southern parts of India, Comorin Area and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and Sri Lanka now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours.    . Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal Condition

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy Day

Above normal rain are likely in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States and about normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Rainy days are expected about (3) to (4) days in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan and Chin States and about (1) to (2) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Night Temperature

Night Temperature will be (1.5 °C) below normal in Northern Shan State, and about normal in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan (East and South), Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Fog Condition

Foggy days will be expected about (6) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Kayah States, about (2) to (5) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon Sates.
