30-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved Northwards now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts. It is centered at about 775 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 85 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 135 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move nearly Northwards parallel to Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Depression Condition

            According to the observations at (12:30) hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Jharkhand (India) has moved West-Northwestwards and weaken into a Depression and now lies over the Northeast Chhattisgarh and adjoining Jharkhand (India).

During next (12) hrs forecast

The Depression is likely to continue to move West-Northwestwards and weaken into a Well-Marked Low Pressure Area and may cross continue inland of India during next 12 hours.

General caution

Due to the Depression, rain or thundershowers will be scattered to fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine States from today morning to next (24) hrs. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast.

Under the influence of depression, people should be awared heavy rain with strong wind, flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and also domestic flight, trawlers, vessels and ships in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast.
