26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain h‌ave been isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below December average temperature in Rakhine State, 2°C below December average temperature in Chin State and 2°C above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Yangon Regions, 3°C above December average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Kayin, Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 0.0°C in Hakha, 5.7°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 6.0°C in Tiddim, 6.2°C in Pyinoolwin, 7.5°C each in Heho and Loilin, 7.6°C in Pinlaung, 9.6°C in Myitkyina, 9.8°C in Putao, 10.4°C in Taunggyi, 10.6°C in Machanbaw and 11.0°C in Mongyang. The noteworthy amount of rainfall record was 0.35 inch in Hainggyigyun.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Preassure Area over Southwest Bay of Bengal(off Sri Lanka Coast) still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may reach over Sri Lanka - Tamil Nadu Coasts, India, during next 12 hrs. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, Westcentral and Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th December 2024: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Bago, Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
