24-2-2026 According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northweatwards and intensified into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area and reached over the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It is likely continue to move West-Northwest during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at (16:30) hrs MST today, due to the convergence of warm air from the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and cold air from the China high pressure system, the western disturbances and eastern disturbances, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered to fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Shan States and isolated in Mandalay, Upper Sagaing Regions and Chin, Rakhine States during 24-2-2025 to 27-2-2025.
