7-1-2026 According to the observations at 18:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has move West-Northwest. It is centered at about 645 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 420 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 605 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (12) miles south-southeast of Taungdwingyi), latitude 19.90 °N, longitude 95.56 °E, depth (11) kilometers, about (61) miles west-northwest of Naypyitaw seismological observatory was recorded at (02) hr (32) min (31) sec M.S.T on 14th April, 2025.
