 24-7-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move towards West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha Coasts, India during next 36 hours. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

BAYINFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25th April 2025: Rain or thundershower will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershower will be isolated to scattered in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States.
