It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards during the next 24 hours. Weather a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Rakhine State. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kayah State, scattered in Sagaing Region and Kayin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States, fairly widespread in Yagnon Region and Kachin, Chin, Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway Regions. Day temperatures were 2°C below April average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, 3°C to 4°C below April average temperatures in Yangon, Sagaing Regions and Mon State, 5°C to 6°C below April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Kayah, Southern Shan States and 7°C below April average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 41.7°C in Chauk, 39.8°C in Myingyan, 39.5°C each in Zaung Tu and Tharrawady, 39.0 °C each in Aunglan and Pakokku, 38.9 °C in Kawkareik, 38.5°C in Gyobingauk and 38.0°C each in Nyaunglaybin and Myaungmya on 29-4-2025. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.44 inches in Taungdwingyi, 1.89 inches in Gyobingauk, 1.81 inches in Meiktila, 1.65 inches in Pyinmana(Walgyi), 1.50 inches in Hainggyigyun, 1.42 inches in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri), 1.29 inches in Myanaung, 1.18 inches each in Pyinmana and Naypyitaw(Pobbathiri), 1.14 inches in Thazi, 1.13 inches in Hsihseng and 1.06 inches in Taunggu.

BAYINFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
