3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.7) Richter Scale with its epicenter (Myanmar- China Border Region), latitude 25.12°N, longitude 98.16°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (51) miles southeast of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (07) hr (30) min (09) sec M.S.T on 16^th May, 2025.
