A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.7) Richter Scale with its epicenter (Myanmar- China Border Region), latitude 25.12°N, longitude 98.16°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (51) miles southeast of Myitkyina seismological observatory was recorded at (07) hr (30) min (09) sec M.S.T on 16th May, 2025.
