3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (21) miles north-northeast of Mong Pan), latitude 20.61°N, longitude 98.46°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (86) miles southwest of Keng Tung seismological observatory was recorded at (14) hr (28) min (13) sec M.S.T on 28^th May, 2025.
