 14-7-2025: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, a low pressure area has formed over the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh, West Bengal and North Odisha, India. Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to fall about (½) foot at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha, Thabeikkyin, Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the first (10) days of  February.

          The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to fall about (½) foot at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa during the first (10) days of February.
