3-9-2025:: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (3.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (7) miles northeast of Loikaw), latitude 19.74 °N, longitude 97.30 °E, depth (10) kilometers, about (72) miles south-southeast of Taunggyi seismological observatory was recorded at (17)hr (53)min (40)sec M.S.T on 22^nd June, 2025.
