24-10-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southeast and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal on 25-10-2025 and further into a Deep Depression on 26-10-2025 and into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
EARTHQUAKE NEWS
A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.8) Richter Scale with its epicenter outside Myanmar (Nicobar Islands, India Region), latitude 8.87°N, longitude 94.05°E, depth (10) kilometers, about (565) miles south-southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (16)hr (29)min (45)sec M.S.T on 25th June, 2025.
