3-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining near Deltic coast, Myanmar still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and may reach over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal and off and along Rakhine coasts and adjoining Deltic coasts during next 36 hours.  Weather is cloudy over the North Andaman Sea, Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy South Andaman Sea  and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

According to the observations at 09:30 hrs MST today, the wave which crossed over Central Myanmar has moved westwards and reached to North Bay of Bengal and further intensified into a Low Pressure Area. It is likely to move west-northwestwards, further intensify and move towards North Odisha and adjoining West Bengal coasts, India.

Due to the low pressure area and strong to vigorous monsoon over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon and Rakhine States with regionally and isolated heavyfalls during  this morning  to 28-7-2025. Frequent squalls with very rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 45 mph. Wave height will be about 14-16 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

People should be awared the natural disasters such as the heavy rainfall with strong wind, thunder, Lightning strike, lightning, hails, flash flood and landslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and to make necessary preparations for inland water transport, domestic flight and irrigation dams.
