SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin, Rakhine States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Bago, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Eastern Shan States, fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 1.76 inches in Thaton, 1.65 inches in Kalay, 1.45 inches in Ye, 1.30 inches in Sinbyugyun, 1.15 inches in Pyinmana(Walgyi), 0.98 inch each in Myaungmya and Einme, 0.94 inch each in Dawei and Heho and 0.83 inch in Theinzayet.

BAYINFERENCE:   Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Rakhine, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and fairly widespread in Yangon Region and Kayin, Southern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mon State. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Weak to moderate monsoon.
