BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the EastCentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Tropical Storm “FENGSHEN” over the Easthern part of Philippines Sea and adjoining near the Samar Island, Philippines, is likely to move North-Northwestwards and continue to cross Luzon Island, Philippines.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th October 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be Isolated in Naypyitaw, Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Rakhine States and scattered in Mandalay, Bago Regions and Kayin, Chin, Easthern Shan States, fairly widespread in Yangon, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Mon, Northern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitae, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon and Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Taninthayi Region.
