26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A low pressure area may form over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and it may further intensify into a depression. Weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain condition and Rainy day

Rain or thundershowers will be above normal in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States and about normal in Kayah, Shan States.

Rainy days are expected about about 7 to 9 days in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Mon, Rakhine States and about 4 to 6 days in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Shan States.

Night Temperature

Night temperature will be 1.5°C above normal of November average Temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kayah, Chin, Southern Shan States and about normal of November average Temperatures in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States.

Fog Condition

Foggy days will be expected about 4 to 6 days in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Mon, Shan States and about 1 to 3 days in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Rahine States.
