According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move slowly West-Northwestwards during the next 24 hours.
