   Well Marked Low Pressure Area Condition

    Issued at 07:00 hours M.S.T on 25-11-2025

            According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the South Andaman Sea. Due to the Well Marked Low Pressure Area, occassional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
