SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain has been isolated in Taninthayi Region. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below December average temperature in Kayah State, 2°C above December average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.0°C in Hakha, 4.3°C in Loilin, 4.7°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 5.4°C in Heho, 5.8°C each in Putao and Pinlaung, 7.6°C in Mongyang, 8.0°C in Machanbaw, 8.5°C in Naungcho, 9.2°C in Taunggyi and 9.3°C in Lashio. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.24 inch in Myeik.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 18th December 2025: Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Mandalay, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
