SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, light rain have been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Northern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C above December average temperatures in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin State, 4°C above December average temperature in Kachin State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.8°C in Loilin, 3.4°C each in Pinlaung and Heho, 3.6°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 5.0°C in Tiddim, 5.4°C in Hakha, 5.9°C in Mongyang, 7.6°C in Pyinoolwin, 8.0°C in Mingin, 8.1°C in Taunggyi and 8.4°C in Lashio. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.04 inch in Machanbaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st December 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin, Northern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
