SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, light rain have been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C above January average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin State and about average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.0°C in Hakha, 3.4°C in Mongyang, 4.3°C in Loilin, 4.5°C in Heho, 5.2°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 6.0°C in Pinlaung, 6.2°C in Lashio, 6.5°C in Taunggyi, 7.0°C in Tiddim and 8.0°C in Hsipaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th January 2026: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
