SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C above January average temperatures in Magway, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and about average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.5°C in Hakha, 4.0°C in Mongyang, 4.4°C in Heho, 4.8°C in Loilin, 5.1°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 6.0°C in Lashio, 6.4°C in Pinlaung, 7.5°C in Pyinoolwin, 7.8°C in Tiddim and 8.3°C in Hsipaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Central Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 28th January 2026: Weather will be in partly cloudy Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
