BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd February 2026: Isolated light rain are likely in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be  generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Eastern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions.
