SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan State and 3°C to 4°C above February average temperatures in Kayah, Rakhine, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 4.0°C in Hakha, 6.9°C in Mongyang, 7.0°C in Putao, 7.8°C in Tiddim, 7.9°C each in Heho and Loilin, 8.3°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 8.6°C in Machanbaw, 9.4°C in Pinlaung, 9.6°C in Hsipaw and 9.8°C in Lashio.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th February 2026: Isolated light rain are likely in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
