SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below February average temperature in Chin State, 2°C below February average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and 2°C above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw and Mon State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 0.0°C in Hakha, 4.0°C in Mongyang, 5.0°C in Tiddim, 5.4°C in Heho, 6.0°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 6.2°C in Loilin, 6.8°C in Lashio, 6.9°C each in Mingin and Hsipaw and 8.0°C in Pinlaung.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th February 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States  and generally fair weather in the remaining Regions and States. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States.
