According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure over the East Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining South Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean on 18-2-2026.
