27-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” crossed in the interior of Indonesia has recurved and moved South-Southeast and now lies again over Northeast of Indonesia and adjoining the Strait of Malacca. It is centered at about 360 Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 140 Nautical miles Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 50 Nautical miles Southeast of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  460 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka has further intensified into a Depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Sri Lanka coast.  It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 180 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Tricomalee(Srilanka), 395 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy and over the over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

One Low Pressure Areas may form over the  North Bay of Bengal.  Monsoon is likely moderate to strong in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rain Conditions and Rainy Days

Above normal rain are likely in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin,  Kayin and Mon States, below normal in Lower Sagaing  Mandalay and Magway Regions and about normal in the remaining Regions and States.

Rainy days are expected about (7) to (9) days in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin,  Kayin and Mon States, and (4) to (6) days in the remaining Regions and States.
