BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move eastwards during next 12 hours and weaken gradually. Weather is a few cloud over North Bay , Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25th February 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespred in Bago, Ayeyarwady, Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay Regions and Kayah States and isolated in in the remaining Region and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
