BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 28th February 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, (Northern and Eastern) Shan States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.
