BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 6th May 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and Northern Shan State, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon States and isolated in the remaining Region and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
