28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A Low Pressure Area may form over the Andaman Sea and South Bay. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Rain Condition and Rainy Day

Rain or thundershowers are likely to be above normal in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan (East), Chin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States, about normal in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan(North and South) and Rakhine States.
Rainy days are expected about (5) to (7) days in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Kayin and Mon States, about (2) to (4) days in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah States.
