2-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining near Deltic coast, Myanmar still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and may reach over the Eastcentral Bay and adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal and off and along Rakhine coasts and adjoining Deltic coasts. Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for First (10) days of April 2018

          The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise about (3-5)feet at Myitkyina, Bhamo, Shwegu, Katha and Thabeikkyin, and about (1-3) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Myinmu, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo, Chauk, Minbu and Magway, and forecast to fall about (1-2) feet at Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and Zalun during the first (10) days of  April.

          The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise about (3-4) feet at Hkamti, Homalin, Phaungpyin, and about (1-2) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa, Minkin, Kani and Monywa during the first (10) days of April.
