8-1-2026 : According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining East Equatorial Indian Ocean has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 735 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco- Island (Myanmar), 250 Nautical miles Southeast of Trincomalee(Sri Lanka) and 455 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry(Sri Lanka).Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Second (10) days of May 2015

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise above the present water levels about  (4-6)  feet  at  Myitkyina, Bhamo and Katha, and about (2-4) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Pakokku, Nyaung Oo ,Chauk, Minbu and Magway, and forecast to fall below the present water level  about (1- 1½)feet at  Aunglan, Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada and  Zalun .

The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise above  the present water levels about (3-4) feet at Hkamti and  Homalin,  and about (1-2) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa and Monywa.
