It is likely to move west–northwestwards towards Sri Lanka and further intensify over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean during next 24 hours. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal, a few cloud over the Central Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Southwest Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
