28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay Region, Kachin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan and Rakhine States, rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Magway and Ayeyarwady Regions, Southern Shan and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Yangon Regions, Mon State, and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Bago Region and isolated heavy falls in Kayin State. Day temperatures were (3°C) to (4°C)above May average temperatures in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Shan, Kayah and Mon States, (2°C) above May average temperatures in Taninthayi Region, Rakhine and Kayin States, (3°C) below May average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and about May average temperature in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) in Phyu, (41°C) each in Chauk, Magway, Aunglan, Sinpyugyun, Tharrawady and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Shwekyin (4.01)inches, Kamamaung (3.58)inches, Madauk (3.23)inches, Thaton (2.75)inches, Belin (2.60)inches, Matupi (2.24)inches, Pyay (2.21)inches, Zaungtu (2.09)inches, Paung (1.97)inches, Tiddim (1.54)inches, Yangon(North Dagon) (1.26)inches, Taunggu (1.22)inches and Bawlakhae (1.18)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
