28-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka Coast has moved North- Northwestwards and is crossing near Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is centered at about 805 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 225 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and across eastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.  Weather is a generally fair over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal  still persists. Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 26th MAY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Eastern Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Kayah State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4- 7) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
