29-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” has crossed near Trincomalee(Srilanka) and moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 175 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 45 Nautical miles West-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards across Northeastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and near South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.   Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy  over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and A few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal  still persists. Monsoon is moderade over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is few cloud over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th MAY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Regions and Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Northern and Southern) Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States, scattered in Naypyitaw,Upper Sagaing, Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Chin and Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4- 8) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Thundery activities in the Deltaic areas.
