26-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved West-Southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia. It is centered at about 305Nautical miles South of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 155 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and  395 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low pressure Area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Southeast Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Central Bay and cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in  Kayah State, rain have been isolated in Northern Shan State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Southern Shan, Rakhine and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions and isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Yangon Region, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Pathein (5.40)inches, Phyarpon (5.16)inches, Yay (4.72)inches, Kawkareik (3.78)inches, Myaungmya (3.66)inches, Coco Island (3.34)inches, Wundwin (3.27)inches, Kyauktaw (3.15)inches, Hainggyigyun (2.99)inches, Dawei (2.48)inches, Pinlaung (2.13)inches and Natogyi (2.03)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th JUNE, 2018: Rain will be isolated in Kayah State, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing and Bago Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States. STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough sea will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (10 - 12) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (6 - 8) feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Vigorous monsoon over Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal.
