SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, rain have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Yangon Regions, Chin and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Northern Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Mogaung (1.97)inches, Yay (1.73)inches, Kengtung and Nyaunglaybin (1.61)inches each, Dawei (1.46)inches, Paung and Launglon (1.38)inches each, Taunggu (1.34)inches, Mogoke (1.29)inches, Taunggyi and Myeik (1.22)inches each.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd JUNE, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, Chin and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Northern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions.
