It is likely to continue to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Depression over West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 18 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to cross Genetic West Bengal, North Odisha, Jharkhand and adjoining North Chhattisgarh during next 2 days. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.0) Richter Scale with its epicenter in Near South Coast of Myanmar, latitude 16.06°N, longitude 96.26°E, depth (10) kilometers about (56) miles south of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at (13)hr (20)min (10)sec M.S.T on 16thAugust, 2018.
