4-9-2025::  According to the observations at 05:30 hrs M.S.T today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast has moved west-northwestwards over the North Odisha coast. It is likely continued to move west-northwestwards and cross North Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh, India and gradually weakened during next 24 hrs.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Bay of Bengal condition

Southwest monsoon is likely to withdrawal from Northern Myanmar areas during (16-21) of September, Central Myanmar areas during (22-27) of September, Deltaic areas during 28th September to 3rd  October.

Three low pressure areas may form over the Andaman Sea and  Bay of Bengal and two may further intensify into depressions.  Monsoon will be weak to moderate in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Rainfall and Rainy Days

Rain or thundershowers will be expected below normal in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions and about normal rain in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago and Yangon Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States.

Rainy days will be expected (15) to (20) days in  Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Shan and Kayah States and (21) to (25) days in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
