23-11-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea on 24-11-2025. Thereafter, it is likely continue to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southeast Bay during subsequent 48 hours.Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw and Mandalay Region, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Bago Region, Kachin, Southern Shan, Rakhine and Kayin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with  isolated heavy falls in Bago Region and Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Machanbaw (4.02)inches, Taunggu (3.35)inches, Kyeikkhame (2.87)inches, Chaungsone (1.77)inches, Kawthaung (1.62)inches, Kyeikmayaw (1.61)inches, Hlaingbwe (1.38)inches, Paung (1.34)inches, Putao (1.29)inches and Mawlamyine (1.38)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Wave height will be about (7-9)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (3 -6)feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.
