26-10-2025:According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and intensified into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 410 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 415 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 445 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

Mid Monsoon Period Forecast For 2015

Mid Monsoon period

Mid Monsoon period is a period of starting from 1st July to the end of August.

Bay of Bengal Condition

Three Low Pressure Areas may form over the Bay of Bengal and two may further intensify into the Depression. During the mid monsoon period, monsoon is likely moderate to strong in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Monsoon Break (1) time may happen in Mid-Monsoon.

Rain Condition

Rain will be expected above normal  in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and below normal in Shan, Chin and Kayah States and about normal rain in the remaining Regions and States.
