24-10-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may further intensify into a depression over Southeast and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal on 25-10-2025 and further into a Deep Depression on 26-10-2025 and into a Cyclonic Storm over the Southwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025. Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

A slight earthquake of magnitude (4.3) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (30) miles northwest of Hta Man Thi ) latitude 25.63°N, longitude 94.95°E, depth (25) kilometers about (105) miles north-northeast of Tamu seismological observatory was recorded at (20)hr. (05)min (48)sec M.S.T. on 27th September, 2018.
