25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the North Andaman Sea  now crossing  over Deltaic areas and it is forecast to move North- Nortrhwest wards . Weather is a partly cloudy  to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and partly cloudy  elsewhere over the  Andaman sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENIBG OF THE 22nd October, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Shan and Rakhine States, scattered in Mandalay  Region and Kayah State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and  isolated heavy falls in  Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced  off and along Myanmar  Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9-12)feet  off and along Myanmar Coasts .

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of fairly widespread to widespread rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine State.
