 24-7-2025: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over North Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and further intensify into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, India and Bangladesh Coasts during next 24 hours. Thereafter, it is likely to move towards West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha Coasts, India during next 36 hours. Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Water level forecast for Second (10) days of July 2015

The water levels of Ayeyarwady river are forecast to rise above the present water levels about  (6-8)  feet  at  Myitkyina, Bhamo and Katha,  about (4-5) feet at Mandalay, Sagaing, Pakokku and Nyaung Oo,about (2½-3½) feet at Chauk, Minbu , Magway,   Aunglan,  Pyay, Seiktha, Hinthada  and Zalun .

The water levels of Chindwin river are forecast to rise above  the present water levels about (6-8) feet at Hkamti and  Homalin,   about (4-5) feet at Mawlaik, Kalewa and Monywa.
